Amigo båtarna designades-konstruerades av den världsberömde Carl Andersson (Vindö kryssarna), och byggdes av dennes son Arne Arksund företrädesvis på Öckerö.
The AMIGO Yatchés was constructed by the World famous Carl Andersson - Orust Sweden (the Vindö Cruisers) and buildt by his son Arne Arksund at his workshop at island of Öckerö.

Det är vår förhoppning att denna nya Amigo-sida ska öka möjligheterna till kontakt mellan Amigo-folk, även en förhoppning att kunna arrangera återkommande träffar på ost och Västkusten som som gjordes vid några tillfällen för omkring 5 år sedan.
the intentions with this new Amigo-site lays in a hope to give all Amigo´s a possibility to meet either on the internet or why not in real life. We´re gonna try to arrange meetings at different venues on the east and westcoast. just as was done a few years ago, shown on the pic below.

"AMIGO 35"
What´s this? In the mid 70-ies a yacht was buildt as yet another one-off. This yacht was intended to be the mold for a new more modern yacht but unfortinutly it never went into production. It was known as the Vindö 35! But as far as I can see, it was intended to be the new Amigo 35. This very special yacht is at this very moment for sale in Denmark.
Vad nu då? I slutet at 70-talet byggdes en ny båt av Arnes yrkesmän. Båten som var tänkt att bli plugg till en kommande serie båtar hade modernare linjer och ovanligt i Carl Andersson sammanhang en negativ kryssarakter! Båten ifråga har blivit känd som den enda Vindö 35, men det har visat sig att detta var tänkt att bli en Amigo 35. Detta enda exemplar finns sedan ett antal år i Danmark och är nu till salu.
